ABOUT ME
I’m a multidisciplinary writer and creative shapeshifter from coastal Rhode Island. In addition to working with words (fiction! criticism! comms!) I have experience in community organizing, environmental education, audio production, visual art, and collaborative theater. My punchy, kaleidoscopic work is often speculative in nature, aiming to make a feast of contradictions and multiplicities. I am a current grad student in the cross-genre MFA in Writing program at the University of California, San Diego, where I also teach.
INTERESTS INCLUDE freaks, oddballs, & queers, experimental ecopoetics, disability & neurodivergence, hybridity, the horizon of abolition, expansive dreamscapes, histories of resistance, protest & performance art, comforting creatures/creature comforts, island-dwellers, utopia & its discontents, becoming ungovernable
